Most of the restaurants were not opened, although they are advertised as wonderfully tempting places to go eat, but then, when you get here you find out the sad news there’s really only one restaurant open and all of the others are closed except on the weekends. Other issues: The whole place smells like an ashtray. Eventually over a long period of time I was able to get someone on the phone and ask for, coffee maker, and all of the accoutrements. Once again, I had to call the front desk (no one answers). However, there was no coffee maker as in the previous room. I had to go all the way downstairs because when I dial the telephone for the front desk, no one answers the phone, I was reassigned a room and went into that room where the TV did work. Thank God I checked to see if the TV was functional before unpacking. I was given my room assignment and directions to my room. I figured this is a pretty bad sign, but since I had to attend a conference here, what choice that I have? Check-in went OK. Absolute dump! First bad sign: as I am walking up to the registration desk to check in, I overhear a conversation from the desk clerk in front of me, stating that a certain numbered room that a couple has just checked into has a completely soiled toilet that needs cleaning.
